discuss the industry specific versions of QB Premier: Retail, Manufacturer/Wholesale, Contractor, etc. discuss the different versions of QB - Pro, Premier, Online, and Enterprise Perhaps we could outline the various menus of QB and fill in w/content: Vendors, Customers, Banking, Reports, etc. I agree that the Pros & Cons arrangement isn't the best. See Wikipedia:Pro & con lists for why the current arrangement of this article is a bad idea. Jamieferrugiaro 19:19, 24 August 2007 (UTC) Restructuring

I am not even sure how to go about it even if I wanted to try? If I could simply edit that article or if I had to do something else first. I could provide information, but wouldn't be sure how to set up it? I *could* probably learn if I felt like it, however that takes a lot of time and just organizing the information would be quite a task. I've mostly just used it for, well, my own needs. Anyway, I would love to help with this but I have little experience on Wiki, especially contributing. Also, the film company he uses it for is not really considered a small business, so I wouldn't agree with the article that it is for only small business. My brother is a Quickbooks consultant and has experience in almost every version, including the Online one. I use to use Quickbooks back in high school for my father's company and just started working for an Accountant who needs help using the program. Other free trials, like the Online one, have a time limit.

There is no time limit, however, so all in all it's a decent trial since you can play around with a lot of the features. I personally downloaded the Simple Start Free Edition, where the catch is that you may only have a certain number of customers, employees, and vendors. You may also download a free trial of Quickbooks to play around with. The videos aren't very long, so it's easy to do when you have spare time. Afterwards, you take tests on what you watched. My brother took it and you mostly watch chapters through videos to learn. I haven't done this yet, although I plan to. Right now Quickbooks has a "QuickBooks Certified User Program", where you can sign up to become a Beta Participant and get Certified through Quickbooks itself.

I am currently taking a certification through a County College in my area. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.6.236.10 ( talk Can someone set up an outline of sub-headings for software? If this existed, I would be happy to contribute to individual focused topics on the software. I am an active user of Quickbooks, however, the task of writing this is so daunting due to its vast size. article says, then hundreds of Wikipedians must have used it, and we just need to persuade someone to write.

However, if it's " the most commonly used small-business accounting and management software software in the US" as the Intuit, Inc.

#EDIT ITEM QUICKBOOKS FOR MAC INSTALL#
Apparently it's commercial/propietary, which means I can't just install it to play, either. I've been formatting a few category:Lists of software recently a few of them linked to QuickBooks, so I thought it should at least have a stub (both redirect suggestions would have been to pages which link here!) I've never used QuickBooks, which is why it's still a stub rather than a real article. This has been removed with an article text instead (as it should be).
